Description
With Rock table, designed by Matteo Agati, Trussardi Casa explores new creative horizons. Here, the technological innovation of reuse is harmoniously interwoven with the designer's stylistic vision, prompting a sophisticated dialogue between sustainability and creativity.
Rock is a sculptural and monolithic piece, designed with a strong personality and volumes defined by clear-cut lines. The top and upper legs are made of RPB (Regenerated Particle Board), produced by Rewood, employing an innovative production process that transforms waste wood into regenerated panels through high temperature compression.
This process, developed by Saib, a leader in the sector, combines sustainability with high performance, through the top composed of quartz powder, wood, and stone fragments. Stabilised using infrared technology and modelled to obtain a vibrant texture enhanced with subtle ripples reminiscent of natural stone, the top stands out for its refined aesthetics and high technical performance alike. In fact, it is resistant to scratches, dents, and stains, completely recyclable and solvent-free, thus guaranteeing a regenerative and sustainable life cycle.
The folding technique allows for continuous surfaces with no visible joints, while the lower portion of the leg, upholstered in ecological Futura fabric, adds to the tactile and sustainable approach. Varnished metal elements introduce a rhythmic appearance, balancing the roughness of the top with the softness of the legs.
Rock table embodies a circular approach: each material is designed for reuse, reflecting Trussardi Casa's commitment to sustainable and conscientious design.
