With the Hug lamp collection, Silvio Pompei continues his formal exploration, translating the design language of the Hug tables into a luminous interpretation. This family of lights includes table lamps in two sizes, a floor lamp, and a pendant version, offering a versatile lighting solution with a strong expressive character. 

In full adherence to the principles of Gentle Design, the project focuses on the harmony between form, function, and sensory experience, favoring soft lines, refined materials, and a welcoming presence. Hug Light is designed to be beautiful both on and off, radiating a sense of well-being and exuding the timeless allure of an object that transcends trends, effortlessly integrating into any space. 

Its signature feature is the lampshade, crafted from a soft, fluid fabric that wraps around itself like a warm embrace, reminiscent of the elegant closure of a cuff, always staying true to the Maison’s artisanal savoir-faire. 

Beyond the visual softness of the shade, another defining detail deserves attention: a subtle curl along the stem, serving as both a graceful graphic element and a technical solution. Finished in Gun Metal Grey galvanic coating, it offers a sophisticated reflective contrast against the matte black soft-touch base and stem. 

A detail where aesthetics meet function, it neatly houses the external power cord, secured at the base with a leather strap fastened by a stud—a direct reference to the refined design of the Necky lamps. An essential, almost calligraphic element, it enhances the collection’s character, perfectly embodying Gentle Design—a philosophy defined by soft gestures and meticulously curated details.
