Silvio Pompei is an Italian designer educated at the Faculty of Architecture and Design in Camerino, where he developed a sensitivity towards responsible and ethical design.
After gaining work experience in architecture firms and innovative startups, he won a scholarship promoted by Giulio Cappellini, which allowed him to attend the Master's program at Istituto Marangoni, specializing in furniture and product design.
A lover of simple objects capable of elegantly harmonizing functionality and user experience, Silvio's work attempts to challenge everyday truths in search of new languages and unexplored opportunities.
Since 2021, Silvio Pompei has been part of the product and furniture team at OTTO studio by Paola Navone, as well as an active member of the Prisma Marangoni group.
In 2020, he won the "Circular Economy. Essential Furniture" competition with the chaise longue "Ghirigoro," and in 2022, he won the Nava Design competition with the "Pocket II" backpack design. Also in 2022, he won the MM Awards with "Ghirigoro," earning the Silver Prize with the product "Clutch."
