Description
The gentle lines and monolithic, sculpted appearance of Mekong armchair, designed by Elisa Ossino, evokes a primal charm, still dominated by nature.
MEKONG offers a unique sensorial and spatial experience. More than a seat, it is a modern refuge reminiscent of the archetype of a shell, offering an inviting return to the origins. The designer’s inspiration is reflected in the harmonic dialogue between geometric and metaphysical abstraction, giving the armchair a cocooned appearance.
Made entirely of Polimex®, a mixture of polystyrene and polyurethane, Mekong boasts an advanced design through its complex, sculpted forms, lightness and structural resistance.
Playing with different upholsteries in leather and fabric, and various textures and colours, makes each armchair unique, like a dress that continuously changes to echo one’s personal aesthetics.
The ergonomic design, enriched with a generous layer of padding, offers enveloping comfort, while the bi-material construction offers a charming contrast between the exterior and the interior.
Utterly iconic, Mekong responds to the evolution of the modern cosmopolitan lifestyle, blending seamlessly into any home.
