Conceived to safeguard and display books, objets trouvés, and décor elements, Polifemo bookshelf by Dolce&Gabbana Casa features the beautiful graphic motifs in the collection. The bookshelf is designed to allow the central panel to slide outwards to reveal the area behind it. Since the back side is also decorated, it can be placed against the wall or used to subdivide areas in a room. Thanks to the unique manufacturing approach, which challenges the logic of traditional production, it is the aesthetics which guide the technical design, down to the tiniest details: from visually balancing the volumes, the manual craftsmanship of the edges, down to the meticulous polishing which was studied to ensure that the appeal of the graphics remains unaltered over time.
